Resting Heart rate

So its been a year with resting heart rate at 100/ usually 90s bpm. I tried beta blockers like bisoprolol but was prescribed for a month. Then stopped due to low bp.

I’m trying to lower my anxiety/ work out.

However, last time I was checked was oct 2020.

Should I get checked again?

I’m afraid of heart failure or so.....

Can I ask what you’re diet is like? Overall fitness levels?

Yes, I don’t eat big meals /sugar/soda /coffee/fat. I drink a lot of water. I do rarely eat some chips and chocolate like once a day. My main issue is stress and overthinking yet that was my nature my whole life .. but last year it got a little severe for a while... but my resting hr is always 100 and above when doing activities ...it used to be in the 70s

Just wondering whether you are on any other medication such as that for blood pressure. If you are, then there may be an option to be on a beta blocker, but with a lower BP medication. I've found that getting blood pressure and heart rate within reasonable limits is a balancing act between the two medications.
