Just sharing this link as we have previously discussed problems sleeping post CABG. Its an online course to retrain yourself to sleep and I was referred by my GP after discussing with her difficulties sleeping. Have started to keep sleep diary for 7 days... if you have not come across this might be worth exploring with your Doc?! (It’s free if your GP refers you) sleepstation.org.uk/
PS - Still following tips shared on here by others so thank you 👍

Interesting. I have not really slept properly ever since having CHD diagnosed and the stents fitted, even though I am now only on Aspirin and Atorvastatin, which I take in the morning to try and alleviate the bad dreams I think it is causing. I wonder if it is something that has physically changed or the meds or maybe emotional changes but I guess I have got used to it. Wife going through the menopause also a factor so difficult to know really. I find a little 20 mins or so of an afternoon helps if you are able to.........
I think sleep is a massive issue for a lot of us and we all have different coping mechanisms but it’s just that coping a d it eventually catches up with you. I’ve tried everything including find a little PM time but never falling asleep, mostly eyes closed and resting mostly. Find little gains but definitely linked to heart disease certainly in my case. Going to give this a go and see where it takes me.... nothing to lose.
