Stents causing unusual EKG

In 2009, after experiencing chest discomfort I requested a stress test. I immediately received angioplasty and 2 stents. Since then, I have twice had the experience of receiving an EKG deemed alarming by the cardiologist who recommended another catheterization. Both times, no blockage was discovered.

I was told once because of my stents, this could occur. My questions are; is there any truth to that statement and how can I continue to proactively monitor my condition.

Thank you in advance.

Do you have a heart monitor yourself?

I have read about ST segment elevations and depressions occurring on ecg/ekg without actually a heart attack, apparently it can be a natural phenomenon in some people.

I wonder if this is what happened in your case?

Kind regards to you.
