tooth out
Telephone the dental surgery and ask for a phone consult so you can talk about your concerns with the dentist. He/she needs to know about the productive coughing post-procedure (and what meds you're on) and during the phone consult should be able to put your mind to rest about further treatment - including reformulating the treatment plan to accommodate meds and worries.
Don't delay or try to avoid further treatment if it is needed. Avoiding treatment for whatever reason often leads to tooth loss, abscess, and other complications.
Pammy did you inform the dentist that you were taking ticagrelor? I would call them to discuss. I was taking ticagrelor for twelve months along with the usual heart meds and dentist would not even do a scrape and polish
