I feel your frustration. My first grandbaby was born on Dec 9, 2019. I saw him as a newborn but haven't seen him since and he is now walking. My son and daughter in law live in the USA and I have had two flights cancelled, one the night before I was to fly when D. Trump halted flights from the UK. I have frequent Zoom calls, videos of his antics, and almost daily photographs. I am so thankful for the technology available today. I had to smile when you posted the 0445 alarm time. I remember my own children waking at this time on Christmas morning 😂

Happy Christmas to you and yours!

We usually Skype Christmas with the family in the States but not this year - I don't want them to see how unwell I am this year (West Coast daughter with three children aged 7 through 15; Alabama son with two lads aged 12 and 17).

Nice giggle about 0445hrs - I miss those days, now they're all old enough to sleep until at least 7am:)
