After 2 weeks of integrating back into work life, I was also lucky enough to marry my wife yesterday.

This is Mrs Pond.

I wanted to show her off to you.

Thanks Pauline. 50 years of marriage! That's amazing. Some great advice, I'm used to saying Sorry. I'm always doing something I shouldn't. I am so glad my Wife is able to tell me when I do something not to her liking....😉

My husband was an officer in the merchant navy, so lots of time in the first 35 years he was away at sea, so not able to fall out he wasn’t here😂

Thank you, I have two lovely grown up sons and a Granddaughter, at least my first marriage wasn't wasted 💙💙, I think the old dicky ticker got in the way of anything else romantic 🙄x

Still drive me nuts hehe, they are 39 & 42, the wee one was great when I got out after my transplant, came over and done my house work, changed bedding etc he was a wee gem, he can't drive but came to the jubilee every night after work over an hour on the bus each way terrible journey, its 15 mins by car, I am looking forward to having him and his lovely partner over for Christmas, I hope you are enjoying the start of your married life with your beautiful wife ❤️❤️x

Congratulations, we had our Golden Wedding Anniversary last Saturday. Advice- hmmm always say sorry whether it's your error or not. We have a row at least once a day too. Neither of us can hold a grudge which helps.Before we married, my future Ma-in-law said "these men are very hard to live with but it's worth it!!"

I have been married 27 years

What has made mine work is

Make time to listen to each other

Be each others best friend that really means a lot

Remember she is always right ( even when she isn't ) trust me that will get you far

Never take each other for granted

Make sure you let each other know you love them just as much as you do today

I hope you have a long and happy marriage you are both lucky to have found each other

How lovely. Congratulations.

My advice. If some thing is broken a husband wants to fix it. A wife wants to discuss why it was broken, when it was broken, where it was broken, what could be done to fix it, whether it’s should be fixed and when we should try. Whether it actually ends up fixed is completely irrelevant.

My advice let her talk, we need it. It’s part of our process. Don’t try to work out why. Just accept our need and have a wonderful life. Xxxx

My advice : If things get tough down the line remember the things that brought you together and the what first attracted you to each other in the beginning of your relationship. And never forget the small things you can do for each other each day.

Congratulations. What a beautiful couple. Lovely to see a positive post in the mists of everything. My husband and I have been married 25 years, celebrated our silver wedding anniversary in the middle of the first lockdown. Advice: be willing to compromise and enjoy at least one shared interest. Oh and in tough times, listen to each other, no need to have all answers or 'solve' the problem, just be there. Many best wishes to you both.

We've been married close to 50 years so I can only say, keep smiling together; if you have a falling out, make up and don't hold grudges; both of you should remember that special 10 letter word - compromise!

I've been struggling a lot since my Heart Attack with my mental health. My heart failure nurse suggests some anti depressants....I dont really want any more tablets. I've prescribed myself plenty of fresh air and a better diet. Hope hubby feels better soon ♥️x
