Yes my cardiologist recommended it and coenzyme Q
I recently asked my consultant if I was ok taking vitamin d whilst taking Amlodipine and Clopidogrel and he assured me it was fine. I do take statins also, but only twice a week due to side effects.
Iv just registered to receive free vit D from January from NHS . I haven’t heard of it being contraindicated with other meds
Yes no problem.
Simple answer yes. My GP put me on it
Hi Superego, if it helps, I take the following prescription meds daily:-
Amlodipine 10mg,
Atorvastatin 40mg
Aspirin 75mg
and as I was Vitamin D deficient a while back according to a blood test, I take a 1000 IU Vit D supplement.
If you're at all worried, check with your pharmacist and/or GP but I haven't encountered any issue with taking the supplement.
Hope this helps
I have not had any problem except with statin, I'm taking a half tablet together with Clopidogeral, ( taken at different times)
Hi, i take atorvastatin and amlodipine also vit d, i haven't had any problems.
I am on all of the same meds and I take vitamin D3 as per Drs orders
Of course, everything is fine if you take vitamin D. Vitamin D will never harm the body and any combination you make in vitamins is all right. Vitamin D has a significant role in the body that helps shape the bones and maintain their health. While we take vitamin D, we also take aspirin and many other vitamins, and I am healthy. Since the pandemic started, I started to keep my immunity high. I have been trying to consume as many vitamins as possible, but of course, it is crucial not to exceed the required concentration in the body.
