Best timeof day to take Felodipine?

Hello. What is the best time of day to take blood pressure medication. My prescrescription says in the morning but I've recently read it's better at night. Grateful for uptodate info. (drug in question is Felodipine.)

Felodipine is usually taken in the morning. Sometimes if another hypertensive is added there is a school of thought that says to take the second one in the evening. This isn’t standard advice yet. I take amlodipine in the morning and losartan in the evening. My bp is well controlled which is what I want. So as a pharmacist I would advice you continue to take your felodipine in the morning as is standard protocol currently.

Hi,

I have taken numerous BP tablets over the last 20 years including felodopine and I have always taken them in the morning. The only medication I have ever been instructed to take in the evening is atorvostsin as it adversely reacts with a medication I take in the morning.
