Still no antibiotics for infected tooth but worried !!

After going to the dentist and not having the work done, he gave me a prescription for antibiotics, used all the hand gel on the way out etc. Got hone and the dentist rang to say they’d found my prescription flapping about an alley way !!!!! Posted it to me 2 days later I received it, took it to the chemist only to be told ‘really sorry I cannot do this for you the dentist hasn’t signed it’ 😡😡😡😡

Sorry you are having such a hassle to get your treatment, I have found my gp and dentist is good at sending scripts electronically even when I am away from home.

When I called to try and make an appointment with the emergency dentist they told me they couldn't see me but could send a prescription remotely/electronically to my nearest pharmacy. If they can do it in the west of the county I would hope they could in your area Fluffybee.

Did you get to keep the script or did pharmacy keep it ?

Just a thought that 111 should be able to send electronic script under the circumstances if you need it Sunday as opposed to waiting yet another 24hours.

If you knew what was prescribed it would possibly make it simpler for on call gp via 111.

Good luck 🤗🤗🤗

Oh no 🤦‍♀️

Hope you get it sorted soon x

Tell me about it, I know how you feel. One of my back teeth broke in half last week so I rang the dentist they asked a load of questions and said they aren't doing new appointments but they would put me on the list and ring if they get a cancellation. 40 years I've been going to the same dentist so it appears they aren't up and running properly?? Hope you get your prescription sorted 👍

Try some Corsodyl in the meantime

I’ve been using that, pain relief has been more effective, the Corsodyl stains your teeth a bit but did help when I first started getting pain
