I had a heart stent fitted last year and was making a good recovery getting back to work, golf and racquetball. I have the usual mix of drugs, aspirin, Artorvastatin 80mg, Bisoprolol 1.25mg, Clopidogrel 75mg, Omeprazole 20mg and Losartan 25mg.
However, I do have recurring lower back pain with the latest episode causing severe back spasms and being unable to work for 3 weeks now.
Although I have had some previous back issues, just wondering whether anyone else has experienced similar problems having had similar procedure and medication.
I realise I am very lucky to have made a good heart recovery, but the back issue is very debilitating.
Thanks Derek

Ask your GP for a liver function test. I found statins we’re causing me liver problems and severe pains.
Hi I sympathise with you having a bad back.I have been suffering for 20 years. My back usually goes into spasms twice a year, for no reason at all.I went to physio some years ago and they put me through a 6 week Pilates course.I do these exercises twice a week and they do help. They told me the stronger your core the stronger your back will be.Personally I don't think it's your tablets.Good luck and keep well.
My Doctor said it was possible the Statins Maise, but was reluctant to change my medication, didn’t mention blood test.
I think Pilates for bad backs maybe the way I will have to go thanks Ravaging. It just seems odd all this has got a lot worse since I started with the meds.
