Withdrawals from Bisoprolol 1.25mg

Hi I recently stopped taking Bisoprolol 1.25mg as advices by my dr because I was feeling very light headed on them I have been taking them for about 8 months maybe longer and I have been having the most awful withdrawals I believe.

I have been unable to sleep I spend two nights in a and e convinced I was dying I have been shaking sweating crying having extreme anxiety tingling in my lips and tongue my body parts keep going numb I have been taking the Bisoprolol again as I just cannot handle the withdrawals is there any advice someone can give me please

Hi, Cut it in half for a week, then quarters for a week, then a tiny bit, withdraw slowly some people can just stop them others like me and you now suffer more.

I was on bisoprolol 2.5mgs for only 3 months and it was a nightmare. I withdrew very very slowly because of withdrawal symptoms. It has taken me 8 months and I have been just over a week of not taking them. Yes all the symptoms you have are withdrawal/rebound with anxiety being the worse. Even though I have taken 8 months I am still having withdrawal but not as bad as if I had withdrawn quickly. Some lucky people have no withdrawal symptoms at all. The rebound/withdrawal could last for some time but may get a little worse before it starts to get better.
