Hi all, 3 years ago I was diagnosed with mildly high BP ( linked to only having one kidney). Was initially put on Ramipril but couldn’t find any comfort with that so switched to 50 mg of Losartan.
More recently I have had 3-4 episodes of a discomfort in my chest area, no urgent pain just more of a mild tightness. During these time’s my Bp remains around 130/90 which is fairly normal for me, and HR steady in the mid 70’s.
I’ve had blood tests, X-ray, ecg and all come back clear. It’s driving me insane as I know I fee far from right, yet nothing obvious shows on my tests.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
Thanks, and stay safe people

My losartan was upped 16 days ago and yesterday and today I’ve had niggling pains now and then in my chest.... I’ve had a 24 hr ECG recently which said my heart was good and just had the usual blood tests for kidney done they all came back good so I’m wondering if this pain is just from the new 100mg dose it is listed as a side effect .... I’m quite fit for my age and go to a gym 4 times a week, I can run , cycle and am not breathless ... I might give it a few days then phone the dr for advice ... mine is a pain that comes and goes throughout the day
