My doctor gave me losarten to take two 1 on Saturday night on Sunday afternoon had a funny turn in Argos took another Sunday night started feeling ill. Decided not to take them. Going to take other stuff instead don’t want to keep feeling I’ll. I am too sensitive for meds. I know what everyone will think watch your blood pressure but I feel I want to try with natural products I already take beetroot which works

When you say taking beetroot is this tablets or juice or are you eating beetroot? Just asking out of interest.

Been taking capsules for a long time now used to rake just 1 but increasing to two and just started drinking celery juice using 4 sticks juiced this should be drunk first thing in morning on empty stomach sip it over 30 mins then leave it 15 mins then have breakfast celery has good benefits other than blood pressure yesterday had a migraine gone today.

With most prescription meds, slowly come off. Take one now and another tomorrow, then go to every other day and so on. But, it’s BP med, so Dr needs to check and advise if you can come off them

I eat quite a lot of beetroot with salads. You can certainly tell if you’ve rated too much!😳.

Is your BP high, I can’t go near my doctor’s surgery without them taking mine as it’s a tad high. Well more than a tad actually! However as we can’t any response from them on the phone I can’t see anyway if going in and having mine checked. I have to use my RH arm as LH side has no lymph nodes so they prefer not to use that except in emergency.

Don’t know what mine is really I suffer with white coat syndrome it goes up just looking at a monitor when I had my review the nurse calmed me down this was feb. 150/80 she says that’s not to bad. Month later went to see doctor about something he took my blood pressure it was high but then I was anxious so he put me on tablets then lockdown came. When I saw him week after he took it again and it was just the same as the nurse took. Strange. Anyway took them since but rang a doctor last week to get them changed. Was given losarten but I only started on Saturday night. Day after had funny turn in Argos. Didn’t like how I was feeling. Amlodipine I tolerated but gave me problems. I am going to see how I get on and might approach doctor maybe I will try a water pill if I have to have something. Well see

My last Recorded BP was in March 180/105 so not too good. I’d been sitting for an hour waiting for the nurse to see me and had got a tad stressed about how long it was taking. I had to see a doctor after that and they did bloods as well after another BP check. Then we’ve had lockdown.....

I'm 67 ,Been off of Ramipril 5m for six days now after taking for 3 years ,went through some heavy withdrawals , pressure in my head, with some anxiety, and a general not feeling well, starting to feel much better now, regaining my strength and less joint pain, I've also changed my lifestyle ,cut down on sugar and salt as well as junk food,I walk a lot. I do deep breathing as well as meditate, relaxation,it seems to be working for me,but it probably would be best to check with your doctor.
