I have a CRT Pacemaker set at 60 BPM. I like other suffer from low BP after taking my meds - sometimes as low as 90/40 (Apparently most heart meds do this).
I have read that adjusting the pacemaker so my heart rate is 70 BPM can help increase BP.
I don't know the answer but my pm setting was changed from 60 to 63 last week to see if it helped with occasional slight dizziness which they thought might be a bp thing.
I have a pacemaker set at 45ppm. My rhr is around 48-50ppm. I've been like this from day one 3 years ago.
My cardiologist says so long as I am actively functioning it's not a problem. Better to have a low heart rate than an artificially maintained high one.
Energy levels are sometimes a bit low, but it's remarkable how one can mentally adjust to coping and getting going. Mindset helps a great deal.
