I've not had a heart attack and no stents, either. I have other multiple heart conditions all mildish and well controlled (usually) with meds and lifestyle. Others here who have similar conditions to yours will be along soon to offer their experiences arranging travel insurance - but I have to say I greatly admire your pluck - just had a heart attack (Sunday 3rd August) and stents placed (Tuesday 4th August) and you're already thinking about travel, WOW!
I like saga insurance I think they cover everything and it's an easy to follow online application, not the cheapest but I wouldn't skimp on anything this important, good to go insurance were one of the only companies that would insure me, not even saga would give me cancellation cover, when I was on the waiting list for a heart transplant, but I think it's just trial and error depending on your condition what companies are the best, char
