Hi Milkfairy

Sorry to be a downer when talking about your beautiful pup.

Just had the phone call from my Gp, because the Dr who isn’t familiar with MVA and cardiac spasms, the letter my Gp received said as my coronary arteries are clear I’ve no risk of a heart attack etc.

My Gp isn’t a specialist in this so only has that to go by and said no matter what I’m going to be ok coronary spasm or not.

My ultrasound showed my heart isn’t getting the blood supply it needs, so this Stress MRI is hopefully show what’s wrong. 😢

I suggest you send your GP the European Society of Cardiology document I sent you as well as the information on the BHF website as they say otherwise.

Fluffybee profile image
Fluffybee in reply toMilkfairy

I’m hoping to have the stress MRI as soon as I can, depending on the results and what my actual cardiologist says, if I’m not happy I’m thinking of asking to be referred to the Dr who knows about the condition that you sent me.

This is all so frustrating 😤

Think I’ll give my lovely dog ‘Mika’ a long cuddle 🤗

Fluffybee

I share your frustrations!😤

I have had a rocky bumpy journey too trying to get the care I need. 😭

Group hug required😊

Fluffybee profile image
Fluffybee in reply toMilkfairy

Definitely 🤗🤗🤗

My Gp also said unless my chest pain is absolutely horrifically unbearably painful to sit it out, wait until the stress MRI and go from there 😳

My dog Archie has been my salvation since i started with this illness wouldn't be without him.And sorry your drs wrong i had a small heartattack caused by a connary spasm .Hugs x

Fluffybee profile image
Fluffybee in reply toSunday20

I now know since being on this lovely forum how serious coronary spasms really are, if I’d only listened to their consultations I’d be non the wiser as I’m sure many people are.

I’m so sorry you had a heart attack because of it and hope you’re on the mend now.

Looks like I may have a bit of a fight on my hands, failing that ask to be referred to the consultant Milkfairy mentioned who actually specialises in the conditions.

🤗🤗

Lovely, lovely animal. Will she be a family pet or a trained working dog?

Milkfairy profile image
MilkfairyHeart Star in reply toCalliope153

Millie is going to be a family dog but also a therapy dog for me.

She is one adorable dog! Totally melts your heart - oops probably not the best turn of phrase. We don't want any heart meltdowns.

Oh, she's adorable. I just love labradors, they're so loving and faithful. We've had 3 but unfortunately feel we can't have another at this time in our lives so 'share' our son's dog! Enjoy your beautiful Millie, I just want to cuddle her!

She is beautiful. I have always had dogs. I couldn't live without them and their cuddles. I have had big dogs in the past but now can only manage little ones. It has been proved that stroking a dog releases the feel good chemicals in your brain and it does the same for the dog. Enjoy your gorgeous dog.

I completely agree:) My husband and I feel we're no longer suited to having a dog in our life but we have a 15-going-on-three year old Si-Abi cross who thinks he's a dog and he really is wonderful for cuddles and keeping us active (but not the extreme active having a dog would mean).

He plays fetch, follows my husband room-to-room, walks on a leash (he's not allowed out alone after murdering a neighbour's parrot several years ago), and seems to sense when I'm having a bad heart day. If I'm having a good day he brings one of his toys to start a game, if I'm having a bad heart day he sits or lies beside me quietly.

All we have to do is remember to keep the litter pan clean, his kibble dish topped up, and the filter on his water fountain changed - oh, and that HE is the master of this house, lol!

My last beautiful tabby cat lived until she was 24 !!!!!

My dog also knows if I’m unwell and just need to sit there and take it easy, she sits next to me and keeps looking at me, love her so much, certainly gets me through bad days that’s for sure 😇

Fluffybee in reply toSootycat

It’s international cat day today, give your beautiful car a hug from me, he/she looks like she’s good to make you feel better on a bad day, with a gentle non judging purrrrr 🐈

Milkfairy profile image

Hi Woodlandwonders

Millie is doing very well.

I take her out for a walk every day now and she is very cheeky and playful.

She just started puppy training classes!

Hi Milkfairy

How’s beautiful Millie ?

At the moment I have my beautiful cocker spaniel who’s 12 and my daughters chocolate Labrador, (3) staying here 😳

My dog gets a new lease of life when her ‘sister’ arrives both snoring now, had to turn the TV up, literally !!!

But my dog really brings me so much happiness and shows affection no matter what I’m going through, she seems to know.

Very good calming when stressed and in pain 🤗🤗

Milkfairy profile image
MilkfairyHeart Star in reply toFluffybee

Millie is doing really well.

She went to her first puppy class yesterday.

You always get an amazing greeting from a dog. I have had my face licked, ears nibbled and then she lies on her back asking for a tummy tickle.

Fluffybee profile image
Fluffybee in reply toMilkfairy

Did she do well on her first class?

I usually get a tongue down my ear if all places and the other one is the nibbler, starts off gently then a really hard nip right at the end 🥴 bless.
