I’m taking Bisoprol and Ramipral and 3 blood thinners. I’m getting very tired. And my blood pressure is between 95-105/70 and a plus between 50-70. Is it normal to be tired and is there any foods anyone can recommend. Thank u in advance x

I've not had a heart attack but take bisoprolol and I did take ramipril (now something similar). When you first take these it makes you feel very tired until you get used to it. Also I am certain it will take some time to recover after your heart attack and you are bound to be tired. Report it all at your next appointment and give yourself lots of rest, take care x

Enquire about rehab classes with your GP? Have you had a look at your lifestyle, diet, weight and exercise patterns?

When I first started taking Bisoprolol all I wanted to do was sleep. For me it took about 2-3 weeks, then I was ok and need not need to sleep so much. Always worth talking to a health professional about how you are feeling.

Hi Oskar. I had a HA on 30th May and my echo 48 hours later showed that I had an ejection fraction of 30% and was told I had 'heart failure'. I'm six weeks on now and it's a bit of roller coaster as I'm sure many on this forum would tell you. I have days where I feel as if I can take on the world, but the next day I might feel totally wiped out and want to sleep all day. My BP and pulse rate are in the same ranges as yours, though I do find that my BP drops a little lower sometimes, something which I want to discuss with the cardiologist when I see him. My advice would be listen to your body at this early stage and if you need to rest, then rest. The first three weeks after my HA I was exhausted, but it's slowly getting better and my energy levels are increasing. Eat well too. My diet was dreadful before the HA but now I'm eating lots of fresh fruit, veg and salads and I honestly believe this is making a huge difference. Stay safe and good luck in your recovery :)
