Weight Lifting

So I’m about 8 and half weeks in after my heart attack and I feel pretty great! I’m averaging around 11 miles a day on my push bike and some days completing over 30 miles 👍🏻

My next goal is to get back to some weight lifting and muscle strengthening, I can’t find a personal trainer online that has experience with heart attack victims.l and can’t seem to find any helpful material online either?

Can anybody out there recommend someone or point me in the right direction please?

Hi, I would say 8 weeks is too early for anything heavier than 7.5kg!! do not lift anything above your shoulders (shoulder press is out) and avoid anything that causes Intrathoracic pressure. Learn proper breathing techniques, work on your form and take your time! (ex PT)

The way you are going, it seems you are in a hurry to be fitted for a wooden box! Ease up, be sensible, leave the weights to the lower IQs.

Weight lifting is important when you trying to lose weight and gain muscles. for this you have to be very careful if you are a beginner, Use the proper form under the guidance of a gym trainer. Learn how to do each exercise correctly. Add strength training to your fitness routine. you can also use Branched-chain amino acids- as it is a very good source of proteins. start with lightweight dumbles so that your muscle save from injury. you can also add healthy amino acids foods like chicken, eggs, milk, quinoa to your diet.ajinomoto.com/aboutus/amino...
