OK here's a bit of a survey for you for a gloomy Saturday morn. What side of your body, or where in your body if any in particular, did you have your Angina in relation to the resulting diagnosis? I am just curious. Reason for asking is that I had my LAD stented in 2 places, but have a 50% blockage in my RCA which they didn't do. My Angina was mainly in my right side radiating to my upper jaw and back, nothing at all in my right side. I presume the pain is just your heart letting you know it is struggling and that it can be anywhere and there is no relation, but It would be interesting to see if there is any pattern? It would be nice to know where the pain might be if the 50% unblocked bit decides to shrink one day. I am also curious if anyone has had multiple episodes with different arteries being blocked if the resulting Angina felt the same?

Angina question
That’s a really interesting question! A GP I didn’t really know, said your angina will represent where in your heart the blockages are’.
I’m afraid it didn’t really register at the time. I thought it was an odd idea, and he might have a bit of a bee in his bonnet about it!
Perhaps that was completely unfair.
He mentioned it because I got so much pain in my higher back, mainly left, but also between, my shoulder blades. All of my circumflex arteries had bern stented (4/5 in one go) and (you probably know.....sorry if you do) this is round the back of the heart. A bit like 4 fingers, and must be under the shoulder blade.
I hope others reply.
Looks like a dead duck then!
hi. i have a recurring pain under my left breast since the day of my heart attack. since developing angina last year,a year after my heart attack i always got it on the left side radiating into my shoulder and back.since i started suffering unstable angina i get the heart attack feeling in centre of chest but the big change for me is the excruciating pain in my right jaw which now always precedes unstable angina. we’ve all got our own wee habits it would appear❤️
Do you know what is causing the Angina, as in which artery, or has it not been diagnosed?
they’re not sure. i had 2 stents put in lad after heart attack. i had one of them replaced a year later and 1in rca 3 weeks later. iv got blockages in a few minor vessels which they think may be the culprit. i was due to have a few test done just as lockdown happened after being hospitalised for a week. needless to say they were cancelled❤️
