It's 3 months now since l had stents fitted following a heart attack. I was prescribed anti sickness straight away and have been on those on and off since till now. As I've not seen or had contact with the Cardiologist or Rehab as yet due to Corona pandemic. Wondering if this is common and it will pass eventually??

Most of us here are on what I call Heartie Dolly Mixture. Would you mind saying what medication you are on and when the nausea occurs? Thank you.

Do you want just my heart medication.?? The nausea started with the heart attack and is mainly constant. I've gone two days without the cyclozine to see how long l last. I get bit hot and clammy feeling with it as well.

Aspirin

Ivabradine

Ticragrelor

Atorvastin

But I do take alot of other medication including omeprazole which was suggested I take in hospital till saw l was already!

My understanding is that the Omeprazole and other medication should be taken before breakfast and the Aspirin and Ticagrelor after you have eaten. Some people have Omeprazole morning and evening. Might be worth asking your GP about if you are on once daily. I had some dizziness and nausea when I was slightly overmedicated and had hypotension. Good luck as quite unpleasant on an ongoing basis!

Yep do take meds as you said in the right order. Our GP service is without being too rude not much help. I will send email l think and see if the cardiologist

is back and when or if they know about appointments. You come out of and don't have a clue what to expect or what's normal. Thank you again by the way

Hi I had issues with Nausea in the past which after a while went away after stopping Ticagrelor after a year and swapping Omeprazole for Lansaprazole. 😉 good luck

Nausea started before l was put on the Ticragrelor. I take quite a few meds over all like lots of others and think I could take horse tablets and not notice any side effects?! Anyway thanks for your help

Do you take Diclofenic for anything? That makes me so nauseated I can't lift my head off the pillow.

No l don't.(what is that prescribed for)? I do sleep propped. I stopped the anti sickness meds for two days and nausea was awful so gone back into them. Going to write to the Cardiologist today. Thanks for your reply
