Hi

Me again. I have had further blood tests and been told my Platelets are to high!! Has anyone had this? I have to have them taken again for further investigation.

Sorry I know next too nothing about this but am replying so your post climbs up "Recently Active".

High platelet count is caused by either Thrombocythemia and Thrombocytosis. The first is related to an inherited condition within the bone marrow. With the second there is another cause which can vary from "iron deficient anemia" to some cancers. Some medications occasionally cause it.

I hope they find the cause and address it quickly for you.
