Hiya, I am new onto this site also(three weeks ago). I have had all tests which came back clear. Waiting for an angiogram. I am in 3 meds a day and spray. All as a precaution till I have angiogram. I did have a reaction from the cholesterol (hot itchy hands and feet and sore ankle joints). After advice on here contacted my GP . New lower cholesterol given which seems fine. I am 60 and fit and well Working full time before lockdown. It is scary but when you get over the shock you will relax a little. Take care.

Hi

I’m sure I’m messaging all over the place, so apologise for me posting left right and centre, I have memory problems to a separate condition and all the meds I have with that.

My angiogram came back completely clear but my ECG had abnormalities which looked like the signal was trying to get through but was blocked somehow, that’s what the paramedic said and when I had pain it matched the ECG.

The ultrasound showed my heart isn’t squeezing my heat sufficiently enough, cannot think what else I’ve had done but now on 4 meds and GTN spray.

Does the spray help with your symptoms ?

Diagnosed with high blood pressure and fluttering heart rate but get breathless at times and occasional chest pain but cardiologist refused to do CT Scan. GNT spray worked when called ambulance as extreme pain and it worked but cardilogist seems to have ignored this . I not overweight i dont drink or smoke and cant understand why i have blood pressure as eat really healthly as grow my own fruit and veg and excercise by doing yoga, walking and biking but not excessively. The breathkessness feels like I'm choking and have to cough.

Hi Flowerpop

Has anybody considered Microvascular angina?

It is a poorly understood and recognised cause of angina and breathlessness in particular women.

The BHF have this information about MVA

Hi

I know it’s frightening when you get pain and are breathless, hopefully your GP will help.

Let us know how you get on 😊

Hi Laow

I’m still learning a steep learning curve about microvascular angina and vasospastic angina.

I’ve had so much help support and kindness from this forum, loads of excellent advice and information.

Have you got a date for your echo yet?

When I had an echo it showed my heart wasn’t squeezing properly and the blood not getting through and some other things I cannot recall just now, Ecg significant Q waves and boarder line QT syndrome amongst others, I’m just over loaded right now.

Just increased nitrates and changed one medication so hoping that will help.

I’ve thankfully got a telephone consultation this coming week with the cardiologist, lots of notes to finish.

Are you ok ?

Not what you're looking for?
