Hi

HA in May 1019

Saw GP 4 weeks later just to get meds

Signed of 6 weeks later from Cardiologist through Heart Care Nurse

Yearly Check on my Birthday with Nurse at GP practice .

No need to see GP if you are feeling ok but if not make appointment

Hi Danny. I had mine same time as you. I have had regular check ups with my GP since. I asked for a 6 month blood test and found that, although my cholesterol was low, the statins were damaging my liver. If I hadn’t asked for the test I would have become very ill. My medication has changed 12 months on from having my stent, which seems to be the norm, so by the sounds of it you may be due for a review.

I have my cholesterol levels checked every year around the time of my birthday. They also do other blood tests, liver function, blood sugars, that kind of thing.

I haven’t been called in yet this year, due to Covid restrictions.

You should have an annual review inc blood tests for cholesterol etc & medication review. Should be computer generated automatically triggered by your birthday. Suggest ring the practice to check you are on the system & when you can expect an appt.
