Essential Travel???

We live in sight of a fairly busy road, which has been very quiet lately, however this morning it is absolutely full of cars, and has been since 8 O'clock. Has the curfew been lifted and no one has told me? What's going on???

Interesting you say that. We also live on a busy road and have noticed a definite upturn in traffic over the past few days. I guess this shows why HMG are so desperate not to give any indication of an end to the lock down - as people will jump the gun.

Many are flaunting the rules and should be subjected to a larger fine that the paltry £30!

I wonder how much Matt Hancock is going to get fined when he fails to come up with the promised number of tests?

I'm told that in Canada it is $1,000.

Apparently, there’s a lot of fines being issued where I live.

Latest guide says you can now travel to exercise but period of exercise must be longer than the drive to place. Also parks and cemetery’s now ordered to open.

Perhaps folk now using this guidance

Keep safe

I have to go to my elderly mother most days due to her condition. I usually walk as it's not far but have to cross a busy road and it gives me exercise outdoors. However, yesterday I actually had to use the crossing due to the amount of vehicles and it was 10 a.m. usually, during the lockdown, I can pretty much walk across anywhere. It was quite busy. However, I will be one of those in a car today as I have to go to pharmacy prior to going to her - not going on a jolly but wonder where people were going yesterday.

Hi lateguitarist. We've noticed quite a bit more traffic in the last week too. That's fine I guess if people don't get out of their cars!!
