Low iron really effects breathing

Hiya

Just noticed your post now and thought I’d mention that after a lot of worry and tests regarding my breathing a few months after my open heart surgery. l found out from talking to my doctor and asking loads of questions that very low iron effects your breathing because the blood needs iron to produce oxygen and if low the heart has to work harder to work !!!

So for now make sure you complete the course of iron and note your iron levels at your blood test (and how your feeling/breathing) after you finish!

Hope this helps it did me x
