Hi, can the above cause chest pain, like angina, ,breathlessness, and light headedness during exertion, like simple task like hoovering. Even if the diagnosis is given as only mild. And is it common for this condition to be mistaken for coronary,or microvascular angina? Plus, i get lots of palpitations during these episodes. Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I also have mild lvh. What tests have you had?Mine was confirmed, after x ray, with an echocardiogram.I do get palpitations but take propanolol for that but not the other symptoms you mention.Have you had any tests for cardiovascular disease?
Ive had a cardio ct scan , echocardiogram, treadmil test, ,showing no blockages. But mild lvh. And suspected coronary artery spasm, and possible microvascular angina, due to angina pains with no blockages. Plus lots of episodes of a fib,and other arrythmias, captured on alive cor. My cardio appts are a year apart. Are palpitations your only symptoms?
No I had very high bp...244/133 on hospital admission which is well controlled now.A recent 5 day monitor showed ectopics, both atrial and ventricular at a low level and occasional short runs of 'atrial arrhythmia'.The cardiologist said this was very reassuring in his letter.I am still waiting for the results of a ct angio I had in February as I get a burning sensation in my upper chest and abdomen. This was quite strong on commencing meds but has eased right off now and was always unrelated to activity levels. It hardly ever happens now and two trips to A&E when it was bad didn't show anything was up.The cardiologist said the angio was to rule things out.Have a phone consult on 28th May so hopefully will find out before then.
