I feel very low and scared at this moment. What the hell is going on 😢
A very tiny weeny virus has well and truly reminded humanity just how precious life is and the vulnerablity of humanity.
However keep the faith humanity is ingenious it can achieve great things.
Build Stonehenge, the pyramids, go to the moon and cure diseases.
Never give up hope.

I just hope they uncover a drug that can treat it effectively. Just hope jean Claude Van tam comes up with something
We are all at the mercy of mother nature, she can provide beautiful things all around the world, in the sea on the land and in the sky, she can also destroy these things without warning, she can cause more destruction than man can ever hope to achieve. This virus is just one more thing man hopes to be able to put right, I so hope it all ends soon.

Shocking news but sadly always a possibility after he was admitted. I just hope and pray he will be OK.
Quite shocked when that just popped up on my screen. At least he was obviously moved from home and was in the right place at the right time. Sounds like pneumonia has set in perhaps. Pray that he makes it. An uncle of D-I-L died last week, and my friend has just told me his friend has succumbed. Trying not to panic now .
I think we all we can do my friends is too make sure we don’t catch it. I’m getting quite use to my four walls now.

As someone who has sat at the beside of a loved one who was ventilated, I think it's very sad that you couldn't have just said you wish him well & left the politics until a more appropriate time, particularly as you had already made your point yesterday.
Thatwasunexpected makes some good points.
Whilst I agree with everyone that it is very sad news and I hope he makes a swift recovery the fact remains that if he took the disease more seriously and didn't shake everyone's hand he might not have become ill.
If nothing else, hopefully people will head this warning and practice social distancing and take it very seriously because once you go to ICU it's 50/50 whether you come out again.

fingers crossed for our PM and for the sake of his partner and baby to be, i hope he recovers fully.
Hoping our PM comes through this nightmare. Mr Johnson going into ICU demonstrates the seriousness of this virus to those treating the instructions on social distancing etc as not including them, because now we all know someone who has been affected by this awful virus.

It's strange but it feels rather like a friend has gone to ICU. We all know so much about him
that it has become very real. I feel quite worried about him, almost as though he were a friend. I do hope that he is out of ICU soon and makes a full recovery.
