That's very slow and coupled with symptoms not so good? What meds are you on?I'm on a couple including propanolol for arrhythmia and my heart often hits the same rate.Thankfully no symptoms.Have you mentioned it to your GP?
It all depends on what your normal heart rate was. For instance throughout my life I have always been very sportingly active and have what is described by coronary consultant as having an exceptionally strong heart!
My normal heart rate is in the low 50's but even now at my age (71), if I concentrate enough I can pull it down to the low 30's.
But your problem does sound like it needs investigating as light headedness and forgetfulness can be signs of matters that aren't right, so if I were you I would book an online chat with your doctor.......... do you by any chance know what your blood pressure is as well?
Hi Tina. Nothing more to add but to underline that you probably need to talk to your Doctor about this. While 50 isn’t mega low combined with light headedness and forgetfulness means you need to get it checked out.
