I had trouble last year with shortness of breath, chest pain/tightness, and raised blood pressure, they ecg and other tests but they came back clear.
now for the last couple of days my blood pressure has been up to 179/75 but then its 140/53 and in between. also getting tight chest, I was isolated with the symptoms of Covid-19..a cough and sore throat 3 weeks ago but that soon settled down, could this be from that ?

Hello and welcome to the forum! Your diastolic blood pressure is quite reasnoble whilst your systolic is elevated. This referred to as isolated systolic hypertension (ISH). Medication wise CCIs (calcium channel inhibitors) and some diuretics seem to treat the condition better than, say, ACE inhibitors. You need to speak to your GP.
