Just returned from a walk with the wife, found ourselves on a narrow pavement approaching the street we needed to go down, and another couple coming towards us, tricky. So I stuck my arm out to indicate we were turning left to avoid them having to take evasive action, I reckon it will be adopted generally. Obviously, Audi drivers need not adhere to this
