I had triple heart bypass 8 years ago and am now fit and active. I have to take medication for the rest of my life. Do I need to shield myself for 12 weeks ? The advice is confusing and I haven’t received a letter from the nhs yet. I work in food distribution in a large warehouse with 500 odd colleagues so classed as a key worker and am still working but obviously i’m concerned and although we practice social distancing I’m putting my self in a bad situation if I’m high risk ?

As Heythrop says check out the pinned Corona virus post dated 27/3/20 it is in column on the right side of this page. You are in high risk group. You could photo copy the post to discuss with your employer. I read yesterday that Asda are giving there vulnerable employees 12 weeks paid time off.
Thank you
