Hi Chrissy,

From how you’ve described your conditions, you are not in the highest risk category that would have received a letter or text, but you are certainly in the vulnerable category, so should take extra care if you need to go out and avoid doing this if you can.

Stay safe and take care.

Not sure why many of our forum are asking if they are at risk ?

Please everyone act as if you are at risk. Because one way or another everyone is at risk. It is now apparently a fact looking around the world that if we don’t act the outcome is seriously bad. Please everyone be safe and stay home as much as possible

Yes I know we r all at risk I was asking the question because wen u have an nhs nurse saying yes u r in the at risk cat but u still have nt been told that officially Its kinda worrying don’t u think ? I have nt been going out anyway which is kinda hard really as I ve been doing so much walking since my ha and stent surgery to get fit after cardio rehab and really enjoy it but I am abiding by wot our pm is saying and staying in so guess I ll have to wait n see won’t I !!!

Sorry I think you are missing my point. We are all at risk. And keep walking just follow the advice given. No one has said stop exercise

Agree you can walk depending on your area. If you are in a highly populated area it will be difficult to keep the 2m distance. I have just come in a didn't see a soul out walking.

Take Care and Stay Safe

Hi Chrissy

I saw my cardiologist on monday. He said 12 wks if you can work from home and stay in brilliant. I normally swim but I'm just walking for an hour every day keeping social distance. Exercise is important.

So keep exercising and stay safe .

Well said, if you are not sure then it's best to presume you are vulnerable and take every measure to avoid getting it or passing it on.

The advice is (rightly) being updated all the time, and there seems to be three risk categories at the moment. This BHF page seems the clearest.

Based on this I get a B+ ‘Particularly High risk’ but twice (also moderate asthma)😁. Broadly that means take all the precautions you can, but not quite bad enough to warrant the army delivering my shopping.

NB you can register with the Gov if you are in the ‘extremely’ group which gives you priority access to deliveries from Sainsbury’s (other food shops available, but I like orange 🤓). The link is on the Sainsbury’s website.
