I know I can't ask for professional advise and so I hope this allowed instead. I really need to know, if a diagnosis of right sided heart failure is diagnosed and told it can be managed well by the gp, what should a gp do to manage the condition? What are peoples experiences on this?
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help to answer my question.
Kind regards and well wishes to all.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Right sided heart failure has about half-a-dozen causes including left sided heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. The cause can affect treatment but usuky includes weight management, restricted salt intake, blood pressure management and control of any fluid retention.
As another member has mentioned I think you are best off ringing the BHF nurses. The Helpline is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The number to call is 0300 330 3311. You can also email them at hearthelpline@bhf.org.uk
Sorry can't help you Amanda, never heard of the condition, but I would follow Happy Jo's advice. have you tried Googling the condition, and possible treatments, if so be aware the findings might not be reliable. Hope your situation is soon sorted for you, but try not to stress out about it.
What is the reason of your right side heart failure? What test have you had?
