Bending over and arrhythmia, can anyone answer this question for me?

I am currently seeing two cardiologist one of them is the type that specializes in the electrical components of the heart. I am awaiting results of a sleep apnea test which for some reason are taking forever. So far I have no answers as to why when I bend over I get into an arrhythmia. It doesn't happen every time but it does happen a lot and a lot more recently. I currently take 25 mg metoprolol half in the morning half at night.

I have slow heart rate so I can't really take anymore.

Is there anyone out there who is dealing with arrhythmia when they bend over especially if they bend over to pick up something.? Once I straighten up the arrhythmia does not go away immediately. I also have arrhythmia with exertion now and I used to not ever have that. sometimes and sometimes not! Sometimes I can lift Push Pull jump run with no effects. Other times I can't bend over to tuck a sheet in under a mattress. Please if anyone has this issue had this issue and has gotten anywhere with finding out what's going on can you please give me anything that you can share. I am desperate for answers.

Last Thursday was one of my worst days ever I could not do anything without going into some type of skip beats arrhythmia and it was difficult to even walk without having issues with arrhythmia this went on the whole day Thursday Friday I was fine.

Thank you!!

Hi . I have heart problems and a pacemaker. About a year ago I was getting by as usual and working when I only went to bend over and started a bout of tachycardia. I've since had to take bisoprolol. Most times when I do bend now I get some kind of heart fluttering. I'm still on list to see my cardiologist.

I used to suffer with frequent SVT episodes before my ablation, and they were almost always caused by leaning forward. It used to happen a lot when I got out the shower (don’t know whether the warmth was a contributing factor) but could really happen at any time. I found that lying on my back for a while - if I was able to! - stopped them. However, I had the opposite problem to you - my resting heart rate was, and continues to be, on the high side. I haven’t had any episodes since my ablation though. Hope that helps, and you get some answers soon!
