Hi I’m 44 male. I was alcoholic for 15 years and quit of my own back and started having blackouts so I was tested for 2 weeks with ecg monitor on 24/7 when results were read the doctor said I was somewhat bradycardic when asleep 36bpm was lowest . I hadn’t seen it to end of tests due to mental health. So over past few years I’ve been testing my bpm with smart watch and had same problem when sleeping. I’m always tired and breathless now for 12months pains in left side feels like trapped wind or knotted muscle. I’ve lost business along with it. I’ve now used a portable single channel ECG monitor for the past 3 days and out of 22 measurements only 7 say stable waveform and bpm the other 15 are saying irregular heart rate and deviating waveform. I’m now really unsure what to do or speak to as I currently have no GP due to moving home.
Kindest regards
Aaron

I saw your last post and thought I'd check out this one.
I understand how fear, frustration and mental health issues can affect you. I have Bipolar and I'm waiting on an Angiogram for further results.
Please try to remember though that none of us are medically qualified to give you answers and we are all here for the same reason. Most of us on here are also struggling and it won't really help your cause to lash out.
Its probably also not the best idea to be getting so stressed.
My advice is to seek out a gp in your area that is known to be good with both mental health and physical. Register and go see them ASAP.
Write down all symptoms and questions.
I'd also say if you are getting so stressed it may be an idea to request a referral to both a Community Mental Health Team for support and to Cardiologist.
Well done on giving up the alcohol. That's an achievement. I am not an alcoholic but have found it exceptionally hard knowing I can't drink again with my condition. I've drunk to excess a lot in my life to hide pain and make me socially braver.
I wish you well but bear in mind we are all struggling. Find a gp or seek out a BHF nurse for advice. X
