I am 3 months post triple bypass. Feel am doing pretty well. I am wondering if anyone else is or has experienced feeling like when they breath deeply in they can feel their ribs? Don't quite know how to describe the sensation - pressure/moderate discomfort (not pain).

Deep breath in
3 months is not long for major surgery and there may be swelling still or scar tissue, who knows! If you are concerned contact the hospital that did the surgery and they should give you some advice. I guess you are due a discharge appointment soon (usually around 3 months), so see how it goes and speak to them then if you can't get an answer now.
I was discharged on 6th feb. and generally things are good. I was just wondering if anyone had anything similiar (to reassure myself it was normal) but guess everyone is different.
I felt something every time I took a deep breath for months, it’s hard to describe it though it’s like a pressure which eventually goes away . I put it down to my ribs healing 💜
That's what I am hoping it is (and not my lungs). Mine goes away too. I am at 3 months post op - how many months (can you remember) did it take to go away?
I’m ten months on and I only get it occasionally, I was told it takes 12 to 18 months for the ribs to heal. Don’t try to rush your recovery, honestly you will feel better every month. 😉
Thank you very reassuring
