My son sent me that last week and I posted it on my fB Page. Oddly several people said they didn't believe it- mostly Americans. Goodness knows what misinformation they've been fed.

So...

They are trying to give the impression that they know what they are doing, while admitting that it is a new disease about which they do not know much - standard measures would not be effective, as patients are infectious before they have symptoms. They do not mention that there will not be many fatalities in the workforce, but they might be saved billions in pensions.

There is no mention of local lockdown - which was effective in China, but not without decreasing their GNP.

They have worked out that the worst of the pandemic will probably not overlap with seasonal flu.

¿Any attempt to do anything will be stifled by red tape?
