It's Sunday evening and I have coronavirus fatigue. So for something lighter choose between these two songs. Sorry, polls do not work!
When I Was Young: It's Sunday evening... - British Heart Fou...
When I Was Young
That's cheating Michael, the 1st video is unavailable! 😂
Same here however I have never been a big fan of Andy Williams
video 2 gets my vote
Try this one. YouTube is being tetchy!
Lezzers - attempt 3!
There was a programme on BBC 4 on Friday night a retrospective of the live and music of Eric Burdon - interesting to watch and a much underrated artist
I didnt see it - did not know it was on! Looking back it is hard to say why the Animals didn't take off and last longer than they did.
Years later!
Haven't seen that before, and at 78 he's still going, was touring in 2019. Love seeing these people from my youth still doing it.
I seen Burt Bacharach in the Liverpool Philarmonic Hall In July 2016 - he was 87 at the time, and I thought that he probably wouldn't tour again due to his age, and that if Burt was prepared to turn up I should also make the effort.
Gobsmacked to see he's still touring at 91 and his website has dates for 2020 & 2021 - don't you just love a trouper!
Version 2 for me. The Animals👍
I click Share and copy 'n' paste the link. The problem as you can see it does not always work and I do not know why! ☹️
I found channel 78 on Freeview yesterday. It's a 70s music channel and took me straight back to my youth as does Andy Williams!
The Animals for me!
Definitely the Animals, always been a big fan!
If I had to choose it would be The Animals but would rather have Led Zeppelin (saw them in 1976 in Bristol, was 23 turned 24 next day) or Metallica or still going strong Robert Plant 😍😍😍
If I have to choose it would be the Animal’s though would like anything by the Four Tops, a girl of the 60s!
Absolutely love this song thanks for reminding me about this fantastic group. Have had a word with Alexa to give me more lol x
Thanks for that so has Ray Sawyer split from the band
He was 81 when he died so an average innings.
Yes suppose, so sad x
Yes , can’t remember reading about it so sad x
Eric Burdon - I think his version of War is the definitive one, and I’ve seen Springsteen song it live which was pretty darn good!
Aw man Eric Burdon singing yer canna beat it! better than all wor tablets !!
