Hi Marvin. Are they saying you can’t do it because of your bypass? They can do this but would need to argue the case with occupational health/medical evidence based on your job description. For example, if you had a heavy lifting job which you could no longer do as effectively they could transfer you to a non lifting job. If you’re still able to do every day tasks (sounds like you are) then you’re not protected under disability legislation. Are you in a Union?

So they’re saying you can drive a forklift in the morning and afternoon but not at night? Did they say how that relates to your bypass? Might be a good idea to give Citizens Advice a call. If you don’t think it’s reasonable then you can push back. Main thi is to try not to get stressed by it all. Last thing you need.
