Does any one live in East lothian
Hi Piggy there is a list of groups on the Chest Heart and Stroke site in Scotland.
Link is below. I live in Newcastle upon tyne so am too far away! chss.org.uk/heart-informati...
Hope this helps.
They have a help line as well so it may help to give them a call. Take care. Zena x
Have a look at these links:
chss.org.uk/heart-informati...
chss.org.uk/group/east-loth...
Be sure to look carefully at the entire pages - the cardio group has a bit about 'peer support' at the bottom of the page.
I hope you find something in your area - please update and let us know how you get on.
Thankyou sunny2day I've filled in the form online and sent short message. I just feel so alone
I hope you get a reply tomorrow saying they have a group you can join. You might check with your cardiologist or GP to see if you can join the exercise group where you can find some heart-buddies, too.
There's only one the go suggested but they are arm chair arobics, I'm younger and still able bodied so doesn't fit in.woth my needs. Fingers crossed they get back to me with some other one
Please update when you hear something, and I hope you soon get the go-ahead to join a more active rehab group!
I’m from Wales but often wondered the same if you find out there is groups please post good luck kwagmire
Hi Kwagmire. Here is a link to the BHF groups in Wales. Hope there’s one near you. bhf.org.uk/-/media/files/he...

Hi Piggy2 I live in South Lanarkshire so a wee bit too far hope you get some info today. So sorry you feel isolated, let me know how you go. Best wishes Pauline
I'm up the Angus glens or I'd be driving Piggy to meet-ups. Sadly haven't been south of Dundee in a few years - hope you all have avoided any serious consequences of Storms Ciara and Dennis!
That's nice of you to say that. There's got to be folk round my area, I'm going to the hospital on Thursday for another Doppler scan on my leg as I had a clot in my lung and a chest infection so I'll pop round to the cardiologist dept and ask if they can help me although they've done nothing till now to help
Hi, we have had some really wild winds but still in one piece! My heart doesn’t like me walking in windy weather! The borders seem to have had it really bad. Hope you in the Highlands are ok?
Take good care Pauline
A bit of road and field flooding across the lower areas but in the main we seem to have missed the worst of it here in our part of the glens. During Ciara my little plastic greenhouse came loose from the stakes and I had to chase it lest it blow down to Dundee, lol! Took the lessons on-board and everything was properly secured before Dennis hit Saturday night. It's on the tag-end and is still bringing us a strong steady breeze with the occasional strong gust but nothing like yesterday and last night, wowsa!
Very heavy rain and like you strong gusts still today so won’t be going anywhere! Glad you managed to retrieve your greenhouse! Hope there was a lot in it?
Best wishes Pauline
The rains are the worst, I think - are your gardens and roads flooded?
Luckily my little greenhouse was empty - probably why it was so easy for Ciara winds to break it loose from the moorings! I have seeds started in the window sill propagators but those aren't ready for the greenhouse just yet, so no losses, yay!
Hi
I live in East Lothian - there's a great group of people who run "Rest of Life Programme" classes - I believe that there are 16 groups here in East Lothian. Go to elcrg.org/ for info or email roblawson@core-health.com
I go to a class with about 20 people in all sorts of physical conditions....
Hope this helps
