While I'm waiting for hospital appointment for echo and cardiac event monitor.

Been making British Heart Foundation Awareness Ribbons for a friend who is raising money for BHF

My own pattern for a awareness ribbon.

3. 5mm or 4 mms..dk

UK terms.. so UK htr same as US hdc

Ch 26, htr in 2nd ch from hook and in next 9 ch. 2 htr in each of the next 5 ch, htr in the last 10 ch. Fasten off. Cross the htr row in the way it naturally wants to bend to form a ribbon shape. Sew it in place with a yarn needle and weave in ends.

Ps..I've added my knit pattern in comments. Sorry cant add piccy here or in comments .

The pattern got tested for me last night :)

Here is my knit pattern . It got tested yesterday.

Sorry cant share picture in comments.

3.25 or 4mm ..what you think best .

And dk .

Make a slip knot and place it on the needle.

Knit the stitch, then knit in the front and back of the stitch. 2 stitches.

Knit a row, then knit in the front and back, knit 1. 3 stitches.

Knit a row, then knit in the front and back, knit 1. 4 stitches.

Knit straight on these stitches until piece measures about 7 inches from cast on edge, or to about half an inch shorter than your desired length. Xx
