Still waiting for 24 hr heart monitor result

Been waiting 3 weeks for heart monitor test result, was told today it will probably be 5 weeks now, still having strange feelings in chest now and then, been of bisoprolol for nearly 3 weeks now due to bad effects. Just want an answer so i know what going to happen next, effecting my work sometimes. The effect i suffer from still is light headeness when i stand up fron kneeling.

I think my husband's results took 5 weeks to come. He also takes bisoprolol and he feels light headed at times. We know that his blood pressure falls after he takes the medication and I know some people on here take it at night to help cope with the fall in blood pressure. It seems it takes several weeks for the body to get accustomed to bisoprolol (and most of the cardiac medication). We keep a record of the blood pressure readings and keep a diary of symptoms.

I came off bisoprolol because my pressure was coming down to low by taking it, I was diagnosed At fibrillation 2018,started taking bisoprolol mid April due to noticing the At fibrillation more, Gp said pressure was high and this was the main reason for taking Bisoprolol.

Hi, I had a 3 day holter done in early October 2023 in NHS Fife and got result in a letter dated February 2024. All I can say is if anything untoward they will be in touch quickly.

I was told that it would take about 5 weeks to get the result from the 24 hour test.

Feeling light headed is one of the side effect of the med. If you are unsure, best to call your GP as it may be linked to the condition for which you were prescribed the med.

i was put on Bisoprolol for high pressure taken off it because pressure was low waiting for heart monitor result to see what happens next.
