Chest tightness

Hi, im 45 and had 2 stents in Oct 2019. Overall been ok, recently been getting tight chest in the middle of the chest area, almost like someones pressing onto it. Been for a couple of check ups, they not sure whether its angina but have put me on a gastro medication as i take ticagrelor twice a day which could be causing short breath and reflux. Has anyone had similar symptoms? I guess they will monitor the situ over the next few weeks. Any feedback will be very much appreciated.

It’s good you’ve been getting it checked out. I always think hearties should take any chest pain seriously. But perhaps over the years you might get to learn what the different types of chest pain feel like, for you. ........indigestion, muscle strain, angina etc etc.

Myself, I can now differentiate muscle strain better. Not so good with reflux.

Yes definitely, its about self diagnosis i guess!

Each day is about learning the different types of pain.
