Hello Sanpedro2019

Have a look at Fred Olsen cruises - got from a number of UK ports for 5 nights upwards, link below

There are many ports in the country that do no fly cruises - Southampton, Newcastle, Dover & Tilbury for example. If you look on a cruise site i.e ROL Cruises you can find many options.

Bolsover cruises have lots of them, Spain, France. Portugal. Don't forget you can take the train to do river cruises as well.

At last something I am an expert on! I just had to cancel one on 28th March with P and o. That one spends 2 days in Rotterdam as well as going to Bruges. It was a very good price too. Norway is my favourite for any length cruise. Remember you need your insurance to cover you. But having said that they have a mini hospital on board if you are a worrier. Please feel free to message me. If there is anything I can help with. Been cruising a long time now.

It would be lovely to focus on something else apart from my Tuesday angiogram!

From Southampton to the Norwegian fjords. I’ve done it, choose June or July for best weather. Enjoy it!

My friend’s mum goes on one week cruises all the time from Southampton. The tour operator picks up her suitcases a week before the cruise and she is picked up from her sheltered housing in Leeds and taken down to the ship. She travels alone but goes on lots of last minute deals. I think she books from the local travel agency.

There are a number of cruises round the Scottish coast and islands - never Ben in one but friends have. We love watching the cruise ships leave Invergorden in the summer

Love cruising, P&O go from Southampton and do shorter cruises, I think Celerity also do 7 days from Southampton. Have been Celebrity and they are amazing. Doing first P&O this year :)

Absolutely, try Cruise and Maritime, they sail from Tilbury and other ports around the UK. Have been with them numerous times all good. Also P&O but their choice are limited for seven days, Fred Olsen haven’t sailed with them but they sail from the UK. Hope this helps.

We cruised from Southampton in search of the northern lights, Norway and the fiords were spectacular. And yes we found the lights.

We stayed overnight in the hotel opposite the port, and woke up with a view of the ship which was outside lol.

We went all inclusive with Tui for 2 weeks in October and was no where near as cold as we thought. I was post quadruple bypass but felt safe and had no issues whatsoever. Highly recommended.

Next stop Iceland 😁
