A bit embarrassing for Addenbrookes, but a bump they allegedly saw on imaging but didn’t report, later found during my cardiac stress MRI, was looked at by Kettering today and was actually an abscess. Yuk. Drained and sent for testing.
Plus points: they warm the gel for ultrasound where cardiology do not.

I’ve learnt in our 18 years of marriage - crap surprise or no surprise. After a memorable year where saucepans featured I’m ok with no surprise. And yes, he’s still alive.
