It has been a bit of a ride.

Sunday all day until 4:00 i was promised - the catheter is coming out (I had it due to prostate issues). Then at 4:00 - I was told they only take the out in the morning in case you go into retention 😳. Surgeon came round and said it’s likely that would mean an extra day in hospital. So I just accepted it.

Monday 6;00 am out it came - it was the best feeling of the day. All seemed to be working properly. 7:30 they started talking about going home

9:00 physioterrorist dragged me round the ward up the stairs and back

11:00 - you can go home at 4:00 or 5:00. Woop!

1:30 we need your bed, on your bike!

I got home at 2:30 and slept most of the rest of the day

Feeling tired and weak but coping!

I had CABGx3 last Wednesday home day 5 post op.

Food at this gaff is much better too!

So pleased you are back home now and got rid of that terrible Catheter. I only had 1 for a day procedure and absolutely hated it and I was panicking with it as well. So glad to get it out. And said I wouldn't have another one. Hope your recovering well. Brian

For first day or so I was pleased not to have to get up to wee. They had given me a few gallons of fluid - most came out there. But once it had slowed down I was really tied to the thing!
