Take it easy, while it’s not clear exactly what’s going on with you.
Hopefully, you’ll have a clearer picture when you see your GP and neurologist,
In your position I would probably monitor the collapses now, so you can show them exactly what’s happening with them, and whether anything is changing.
Can you go private? My experience with 'urgent' led me to going private. Too long a story to go into but bottom line is their 'urgent' meant a wait of over a month by which time I was feeling so much better (until I wasn't) I found myself apologising to the techs, and having the distinct impression I was annoying the cardiac nurse and the cardiologist.
And when I relapsed, their 'urgent' was still months - so I went private.
Note: going private can mean a bit of a wait depending on where you are and how far you're able to travel. Private is good IF the facilities are available. The private hospital in my area can do scans but I had to go to the nearby teaching hospital for an angiogram and had I needed surgery, the procedure would have been done at the teaching hospital with transfer to the private hospital after day-one post-op.
I'm in NE Scotland, if you're Down South it may be different for you. Worth looking into if you can.
No need to go private, was brought into hospital again and admitted once more onto cardiac unit. See what happens this time. Going to claim squatters rights and chain myself to the bed.
I'm sorry to hear things progressed to the point you've been re-hospitalised but love your spirit (squatters rights)! Do they have anyone you can talk to (chaplain, counsellor) while you wait answers? I think my last nerve would be shattered if I were going through what you are.
