PULSE
Go to Emergency now ! Don't wait for more replies . That is not normal !
You have raised this a few times now. The other day you rang 111 and they advised you to go to A&E. Did you go? You will not sort anything on line. Go - no excuses just go!
hi i went to a and e on sunday nothing done re high bpm was 120 at the time they sent me home later same day no treatment no explination
They didn't explain anything? Any follow up?
I agree with the others. Go get it checked
no NOTHING THEY GAVE ME A CHEST XRAY NOTHING ELSE THEY SAID CONTACT YOUR GP IN FUTURE WAS A HORID DAY WAITED 3 HOURS FOR AMBULANCE ARANGED BY 111,SPENT HOURS IN A AND E CORRIDOR NO NURSES JUST HEALTH CARE ASISTANTS WHO WERE UNINTERESTED IN MY HIGH RISK OF STROKE AS HAD THEM BEFOR WITH ATRAL FRIBULATION AND I HAVE CARDIOMYOPATH,Y AND AORTIC REGUGITATION AND CARDIOEMBOLISN AND PREVIOUS TIA,AND STROKES,SO WAS SENT HOME AND A NICE 3 MILE WALK AND ZERO SUPPORT ADVICE OR ANY MEDICAL INTERVENTION
I would ring for GP for an urgent appointment. If the receptionist is obstructive point out you were in A&E at the weekend. It is also worth giving the BHF nurses a call.
CONTACTED nurse jane on BHF fb page no advice given
Besides an acute hospital with A&E I have a smaller one with an MRU (Minor Injuries Unit) a similar distance in the opposite direction. This is staffed by nurse practioners usually with a GP in the background. Do you have anything like this available? They do tend to have more time as less busy with serious emergencies.
NO NOTHING IN WORCESTER LIKE THAT JUST GP SUGERY AND A AND E PULSE IS 67 RIGHT NOW STILL FLUTERS IN CHEST THOUGH
Here are MIUs in your area: hacw.nhs.uk/our-services/mi...
Hi there, the best way to get in touch with our BHF nurses is to contact our Heart Helpline: bhf.org.uk/informationsuppo...
Call 0300 330 3311 or email hearthelpline@bhf.org.uk
Hope this helps!
Sounds like poor care.
YES ITS REALY BAD even measaged a nurse on this sight no advice given just lots of questions no answers
I sometimes struggle with some posts !! Why would you go on a forum when seeking urgent advice, when YOU suspect something is wrong with your Heart ??
Just a couple of Questions
How long did you wait in A & E to see someone
Did they give you an ECG
Did they give you a Discharge letter for your GP
Did anyone mention AF
Do you currently take any Medication for Heart Related or any other Ailment
Just trying to understand why in your opinion you have been treated poorly
Regards
Sounds like a 3 rd degree but not meant to.
