Has anyone out there developed atrial ectopics following an ablation?

Has anyone out there developed atrial ectopics following an ablation? I've developed a lot of ventricular ectopics, runs of ectopics and frequent ventricular tachycardia since the 'successful' ablation 1 year ago. I am now, according to my Kardia ECG device experiencing an increasing number of atrial ectopics, I'm also suffering from an increase in breathlessness chest pain and faintness/dizziness since the ablation (I think some level of this was masked by similar symptoms being experienced when on bisoprolol). I'm now struggling to walk any distance and don't dare be more than a few minutes away from my car or home without someone with me. A 7 day holter didn't pick much up (still coming of bisoprolol at the time) other than PVC's and ectopics, not always related to the angina like symptoms (I have had a clear angiogram 3 yrs ago).

Any info or personal experience would be much appreciated.

Hello,

I could have written your post about myself, if fact I did!

Ectopic heartbeats 50 before Ablation, over 3000 a year after.

Shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness but I was told 3000+ wasn't a problem, yet no explanation of why it has jumped from 50, to +3000!

I just had another Echocardiogram, so I'm now waiting for the results, fingers crossed!

Thanks - I now feel a lot less alone!! hope you get an explanation and please share!. I'm seeing my EP nurse tomorrow for final appointment, I'm going to push for a referral to another cardiologist or for them to test further.

Persistence is the key, if you're not satisfied let them know!

Best wishes
