Hi all is Anyone in same situation or has an thoughts
56 male, 2 stents never have any blood pressure issues that’s why I came so close to a heart attack. 12 month have passed, 2 stents laters walking around feeling better, taking statins which have my bad cholesterol down to 1.1 and taking aspirin a day.
I get tired easily, when I stress or loud noise it triggers like pins in chest area around heart. It feels like a nerve pull at times. The cold weather is another trigger, I feel that the artery wants to contract with temp change but the stent stops it? Any information on that. Cardio or doctors do not know.
And when I get tired the chest are feels tight, time for sleep.

Hi Vic236456, my situation was similar I think. I had 2 stents inserted following a collapse but Consultant said I hadn't had a HA due to low Troponin levels. However, I have similar 'triggers' for tightness of chest and angina attacks - Stress, Shocks and Cold weather. My diagnosis for this was Cardio Artery Spasms (CAS). You could ask your Cardiologist if your symptoms fit with CAS as there are specific Meds (Calcium Channel Blockers) to help control this. I also have periodic Pericarditis for good measure! Hope this helps.
Hi Vic. I was 55. Had a heart attack out of the blue and a subsequent stent. My third birthday is coming up mid November. Feel pretty good now but still do tire easily. As well as statins and aspirin I also take a beta blocker (Bisoprolol) and an ACE Inhibitor (Ramipril). These are to lower heart rate by blocking adrenaline and to lower blood pressure. Even though my heart rate and blood pressure were already low, they felt I needed this added protection. It might be worthwhile talking to your doc about your symptoms but I did have a heart attack. It might be that you need something like a beta blocker to stop loud noises putting your heart under pressure. A scarf covering your mouth in cold weather will also help stop putting your lungs/heart under additional pressure as it warms the air up. Good luck.
